Recently, we launched a new website for UW Health Partners Watertown Regional Medical Center This website was a complete overhaul: new design, new navigation, new way to tell stories, and a new content management system. To give you an idea of what they had before here a screencap of their old website: I chatted with [...]

Social Media Measurement
I’ve always thought that if there was a solid 100% reliable way of measuring advertising results, that I would be able to retire very quickly to some beautiful warm tropic island. But alas, there are still to many possible errors made in the best of ROI models. The internet has made measuring results immensely more [...]

Making of a TV Commercial(s)
Last summer, we had the opportunity to roll out our new Sony F3 video camera for a series of TV ads. The camera allowed us to capture beautiful HD footage in 1080. The first time I saw the footage on television it looked to almost have a 3D type effect to it, since the quality was so crisp, yet still with a softness to pull on the emotional strings of viewers.

Browser, Ipad, Mobile Friendly???
I knew there was a reason that I used the word “Rant” in my blog’s name! I love new tech toys, and I’m often one of the first (perhaps foolish) to usually run out to buy the latest let’s call it “work accessory.” Or as my brother Andrew would say “if it’s Apple you know [...]

Do you KNOW who you are marketing too?
Remarketing ads… Get the most bang for you buck. Everybody knows you want return customers right? The fact is, if someone has visited your site in the past, they are probably more willing to purchase your products in the future. If only there were a way to KNOW who has visited your site. This brings [...]

It’s Not Where You’re Going, It’s How You Get There.
NOPE! It’s pretty much about where you’re going. Especially when you factor in a budget. Every time a visitor comes from your paid ad on Google you will be charged per click. The content on your landing page is crucial. Pertinent, well thought out content can make you, as well as save you, hundreds and even thousands of dollars. [...]
